RECAP: 2026 Lunar New Year Festival

🎉 WELCOME THE YEAR OF THE HORSE!

On Sunday, February 15, 2026, we proudly hosted our Lunar New Year Festival at Clinton Park in Oakland’s Little Saigon, bringing the community together for a joyful day of culture, connection, and celebration. 🧧✨

In collaboration with the Black Cowboy Association, this year’s event featured a truly unforgettable highlight—real-life horses—creating a unique and exciting experience for attendees of all ages. 🐎

Rain or shine, the celebration carried on with an amazing turnout, proving the strength and spirit of our community. The park came alive with carnival games, festive activities, and a vibrant lineup of traditional Vietnamese culture, including music performances, dance, a stunning fashion show, and an exciting lion dance that energized the crowd. 🥁🦁

Beyond the fun, we were proud to offer free vaccinations and eye exams, helping support the health and well-being of our community. Guests also enjoyed a variety of fresh food vendors serving up delicious bites that added to the festive atmosphere. 🍜🥟

💬 Here’s what our attendees had to say:
✨ “I love how this event brings everyone together!”
✨ “So much fun for the whole family—we’ll definitely be back!”
✨ “Such a unique and memorable celebration!”

We are incredibly grateful to our partners, volunteers, and community members who made this event possible. Thank you for showing up, celebrating with us, and helping create such a vibrant and welcoming Lunar New Year Festival. We can’t wait to see you again next year! ❤️🧨
